Get to know Alison...
For over 10 years I engaged with my athletic nature in a way that stressed and strained my body which led me to injuries that impacted my ability to sustain a healthy quality of life.
After exhausting every ounce of my mental, emotional and physical energy onto a yoga mat in 2010, I realized there was physical healing and abundant freedom in surrendering to only the practice of yoga rather than the strain of perfection I usually attempted in most of what I did.
My hope is to engage with students in their yoga journey where they are, by encouraging them to acknowledge their boundaries and then
safely guide and challenge them to experience their best self. I look to be a learner in all situations and to see the unexpected joy of being in authentic and trusting relationship with others.
